The CW announced today that Whose Line Is It Anyway? is coming back for a 13th season - and what will be its 21st overall. Coming three months after the improv comedy series wrapped Season 12, the news confirms the show will continue despite indications that it would not return.

In late 2022, star Colin Mochrie posted on his Twitter page that they were about to film their final season, thanking fans for their support over the years. He did not elaborate as to why he made the statement, but clearly the situation has changed since then with the show now confirmed to be on the network's schedule for the 2024-2025 fall season.

In Whose Line Is It Anyway?, a panel of four performers take part in short-form improvisation - put on the spot and tasked with creating characters, songs, and scenes. Situations are setup based on topics from audience suggestions or predetermined prompts from the host.
